Having been in business for over 20 years, you would expect Kirsty Parris to know a thing or two about helping people. She has had many jobs over the years, but each position added to the foundation of a very solid career, culminating in Andromeda Business Consulting ...
If you're feeling overwhelmed with doing everything yourself, if you're frustrated with your underperforming business, speak to Kirsty Parris!
She lives in Lavendon with her partner Steve and has a grown-up son Ben and two grandchildren, Madison and Sam. Her hobbies include live music, travelling and time with family and friends. When I asked her what her goal with Andromeda is she smiled and said, "To help as many people as I can to be free of negative thinking".
"Kirsty's key to success is to be kind!"
And that's very true of the Kirsty I know. She has time for everyone, she helps everyone where she can and, sometimes to the detriment of herself, she is there for everyone she knows. She really is an open book with nothing hidden and I know from experience that her family, friends and clients say only good things about her.
Becoming a business coach was 25-years in the making. From boring first jobs as a teenager, through working for a top auctioneers in London, to a family-run project management and training business then moving to be a marketing manager for an accountancy firm (where I first met her all those years ago); each step of her journey added to her skills and experience.
In 2011, she had the confidence to go out on her own as she wanted to help as many business owners as she could. Now, 10 years old, Andromeda Business Consulting has helped many businesses of many sizes. From start-ups to family-run firms to solo entrepreneurs seeking focus and direction, the business coach that is Kirsty Parris has made a difference for them all.
She says that she never stops adding to her business toolkit. "Learning new things helps me to help my clients better. New experiences give me different perspectives, new knowledge gives me different ways to think about the elephant in the room".
That elephant, as cute as it may be, is what holds business owners and entrepreneurs back. And that's the first place she starts. "What do you want to achieve? And what's holding you back?" are literally the first questions she asks her clients and everything starts from there.
It's about understanding why the business is not delivering on the dream that they'd envisioned and then implementing the changes needed to squeeze the elephant out through the door, giving her clients the space they need to move towards their goals.
Every business owner has asked themselves from time to time, "Is this really what I signed up for?" No one really wants to talk about it, but Kirsty uses her kindness to get them to 'spill the beans' so to speak, to be honest with her and with themselves, helping them put words to what they are afraid of.
Apart from ad hoc help and advice, Kirsty has two formal programmes she offers:
The Andromeda GAP program is a business coaching methodology for identifying the gaps in your business and in your thinking. If you are struggling to take your business to the next level, or your are feeling frustrated with your lack of progress, the Andromeda GAP Programme could be exactly what you need.
And the Pegasus Business Boost programme is designed for small and micro-businesses. It is tailored to individual needs and is flexible enough to keep pace as businesses grow and provides regular and reliable access to a trusted advisor who knows their business and understands their goals.
Kirsty cares about the successes of each and every one of her clients and that is reflected by the testimonials she gets from them. "Kirsty is a breath of fresh air" says one, "you've been a huge support in my life for which I am eternally grateful" says another. Of course, every single one of them finishes with phrases similar to "I can't recommend her more highly".
Marketing, coaching, business continuity planning, systems and workflows, people management and of course her GAP and Pegasus programs. Everything you need in a business coach with 35 plus years of experience and many happy clients under her belt.
"Work with Kirsty and you will increase your sales, improve your profitability and reduce your stress levels!"
So, if you're feeling overwhelmed with doing everything yourself, if you're frustrated with your underperforming business, if you're stressed by a lack of growth and financial pressure, then you really do need a Kirsty in your life.
She really can help you.
Until next time ...
